MARLENE JONES (EHRENTRAUT) Beloved friend and partner of 30 years to Gord Ehrentraut of Calgary passed away at the Rosedale Hospice on February 21, 2000, at the age of 44 years, after a courageous battle with cancer. Marlene will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her father Ralph Jones and her stepmother and close friend Shirley Jones. She is also survived by her mother Irene Morison, stepbrothers; Bruce, Murray, Johnny and stepsister Cindy, sister Gail and nephew David. Her very dear friend Pat Kudryk, along with Pats children Spencer and Stephanie, who will miss her greatly. Born February 15, 1956 in Winnipeg, Marlene was a multi-talented individual who loved crafts, animals and had a passion for living. There wasnt anything she wouldnt try. She cared deeply about family and friends and was devoted to the well being of all animals, especially Cari, Charlie and Merlin. Memorial Services will be held at the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints, 6415 Ranchview Dr. N.W., Calgary on Saturday, February 26, at 1:00 p.m. with Wilbert Hayden and Elgin Gregory officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Rosedale Hospice, c/o Hospice Calgary Society, 300-628 12th Ave. S.W., Calgary, AB T2R 0H6.
